Specializing in acute traumatic wounds and patients with nonhealing, chronic wounds.

In chronic wounds there is a physiologic impairment or a delay in the body’s ability to heal. We see such impaired healing as a consequence of diabetes, vascular issues including venous reflux or arterial insufficiency, infection and many other impairments that exist down to the cellular level.

We understand that such wounds cause tremendous suffering for our patients diminishing their quality of life and can be responsible for loss of limb and even one’s life. Our goal is to both treat active wounds and to proactively treat likely future wounds for prevention.
